Last night, I cowashed my hair but I finally got to do an Ayurvedic Pre Conditioning Treatment. I hadn’t done one since I took out the sew in and boooyyyy did my hair need it! I mixed my Brahmi, Kalpi Tone, Amla and Fenugreek as usual and mixed with a bit of EVOO and water. I left it on for about an hour and a half-rinsed it out in the shower-and then proceeded with conditioner washing. I used my new staple, Tresemme Luxurious Moisture Conditioner (although I will probably buy the Tresemme Naturals Conditioner once this is out) for this and deep conditioned with the Shea Moisture Deep Treatment Mask for about 30 minutes. I was itching to do a rod set and was praying that my hair would dry in about an hour under my new dryer. I detangled with my Denman brush and used KKKT as my leave in with Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie to roll it up. It was super late by the time I finished so I didn’t even sit for an hour! (more like 50 minutes) I just threw my satin cap over the rods and hoped that it was dry in another 5 hours before I went to work. This morning not only was my hair dry but I didn’t have a curl that wasn’t shiny and bouncy! I would have never had dry hair with my old dryer after 50 minutes…especially not in rods! This should last me for a week or so and I’ll probably fluff it out and pick it out more as the week progresses. Now, duty calls with my dirty puppy so off to tackle him in the bath! Later, dolls!
